Behind The Design

Drawn from nature, our fantastic fronds and large leaves bring botanical abundance to any table. We were inspired by Josef Frank’s exquisite botanical patterns for our own Plants design. Raw greens grace our runner, celebrating unsung garden heroes including ferns, herbs, and ivy. Create a verdant table setting with our Thistle and Poppy dinner napkins.

We have two lengths available:

Attention to Detail

The embroidery on our Plants table runner in the standard 76” length is composed of approximately 472,000 stitches. It takes over 26 hours for this design to be embroidered on the machine, overseen by a skilled operator who manually changes threads each time the color changes. After the embroidery is completed, it takes about 1.5 hours for each runner to be expertly hand sewn and finished with care.

Material:

Embroidered on 100% linen with linen backing.
Oeko-Tex Standard 100 Certified.
We use linen that is made from 100% unbleached and undyed natural flax fiber. There is an inherent beauty in the shade variation from one crop to another.
