In the cupping in which they chose Sagebrush, Canyon Coffee were really impressed with its sweet, clear flavor while maintaining the creamy body we love. These are the impressive qualities of coffees they've sourced from higher elevations. The beans that comprise the Tolima Especial lot were grown between 1,700 and 2,100 meters above sea level. We tasted notes of chocolate, nougat, and stone fruit

This coffee is sourced from family-owned farms organized around Asociación de Productores Agropecuarios de Santa Rosa (ASPRASAR). ASPRASAR is a producer association with 94 members who live in Saldaña a municipality in the department of Tolima, Colombia. ASPRASAR was founded in 2016 and works in collaboration with an export company called Lohas Beans to establish connections in the specialty coffee market, which has improved coffee prices for its members and enables farmers to reinvest in their farms and provide for their families.
